On the 5th of March, a number of organisations around Dublin 1 region including Cairde, Hill St Family Resource Centre, Migrants Right Centre Ireland, Saol Project, LYCS, Pavee Point, Multicultural Resource Centre and Jamaican and Wider Caribbean Communities in Ireland are organising an event to mark International Women's Day.
The event will be held in Pavee Point from 9.45 to 12.45.
The theme of the event is to celebrate being a woman in today's society and women’s creativity. One aspect of the day is to provide an information stall for women on issues that affect them, such as; mental and physical health, sexual health, gender based violence, accommodation, housing and education. We were wondering whether your organisation would have any information pamphlets or publications on these topics, or about your organisation that we could supply to the participants on the day. If so, we recommend 50 units to be sent to:
Pavee Point,
46 North Great Charles Street,
Dublin 1
with a note ‘Women’s Day” or to Sara Russell
If you would like a representative of your organisation to be available to the participants on the day, or just to attend the event, you are more than welcome.
At a later stage, we will also send out information posters about the event in which we hope you shall distribute around your organisation.
If you have any queries, please don't hesitate to contact any of the organisations participating in the event.
Please note, it is WOMEN ONLY event.
